EHRscribe is one of the older members of the Medical Transcription Industry Alliance. (MTIA) MTIA happens to be the only organized forum for Medical Transcription service organizations (MTSO). Sadly only 15% of the industry actually is organized. EHRscribe supports the mission and activities of MTIA to the full extent of its capability. We believe it is to the benefit of the industry as a whole to be organized. Currently there is wide variation in quality and commitments of the MTSO's in America. MTIA wants to address these issues and create some sort of standard that will enable it to create uniformity in numbers. This will help create standards in quality and service, which the clients will then come to expect from MTIA members and the entire MTSO community at large.

EHRscribe is one of the charter members of the Billing Method principles recently introduced by MTIA. BMP strives to achieve uniformity in one sphere of MT activity that is the Billing methods. We want to promote transparency, verifiability, consistency and integrity in the way MTSO's bill their clients and reward those who continue to adhere to these principles in their business.
